This Moment is My Life
Today I cried while gazing at a wild flower
Overwhelmed by it’s beauty and grace
I stared amidst a forest vast and free
Pine, Oak, Juniper; an array of shades and hue
Overhead I watched four vultures in flight
Wings spread amidst cotton candy clouds of white
I heard my name called upon the wind
Before the gentle breeze sweetly kissed my cheek
I inhaled deeply all this beauty beholden to none
I stretched my neck towards the heavens
For this life is vast beautiful
And I am forever grateful in this moment
For this moment is my life
